Job Description: The PIC is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft under 14 CFR Part 135 regulations. This position requires strict adherence to FAA, TSA, and company policies, including compliance with the TSA Twelve-Five Standard Security Program (TFSSP).
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Pilot-in-Command on all assigned flights under Part 135 operating rules.
Ensure the safety, security, and operational control of each flight.
Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, including weather evaluation, route analysis, weight and balance calculations, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Adhere to and enforce TSA Twelve-Five Standard Security Program procedures, including passenger and cargo security screening, threat assessment, and reporting protocols.
Maintain communication with Dispatch/Operations Control Center to ensure situational awareness and compliance with company procedures.
Complete all required flight documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure that the aircraft is airworthy, properly equipped, and prepared for flight.
Lead and foster a professional, customer-service oriented experience for passengers.
Participate in company-required training, including recurrent training, safety programs, and security programs.
Represent the company professionally with clients, regulatory agencies, and the general public.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) and Instrument Ratings.
Current and valid FAA First-Class or Second-Class Medical Certificate.
Current qualification in the PC-12
Minimum flight time requirements:
Total Time – 2,000 hours
Total PIC – 1,200 hours
Total PIC Time in PC-12 – 100 hours
Total Turbine – 500 hours
Instrument time – 200 Hours
Recent Experience – PC-12 training and experience within the last 12 months proof of initial and recurrent training is required.
License – Commercial (Single Engine), ASEL, AMEL.
Other:
Valid U.S. driver's license
FCC Restricted Radio License
Current passport
Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Pre-employment drug screen and background check
Previous Part 135 experience preferred.
Must meet TSA Twelve-Five Program CHRC background check and security training requirements.
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, airspace, and aviation security programs.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications:
Type rating(s) applicable to company aircraft.
Prior experience with TSA Twelve-Five Program compliance.
Experience operating in varied environments (e.g., mountainous terrain, IFR-heavy operations).
Working Conditions:
Variable schedule including on-call and extended duty periods with potential overnights.
Domestic and international flight operations depending on company needs.
Fast-paced, customer-focused, safety-first flight operations.
