Our Commitment to Safety
Atlas Air Ambulance is a fixed-wing medical transport business based in Jacksonville, FL. We aim to provide hospitals and patients with reliable and safe medical transportation. We hold ourselves to the highest standard of safety in the industry. Our medically outfitted Pilatus PC-12 aircraft can accommodate almost any medical transportation need. We also work hard to allow patients access to financing opportunities to ensure our services are available to everyone.
Safety Standards
We operate under a unified FAA 135 certificate. This means that we are compliant with the FAA’s high standards of aircraft, pitot, and facility safety standards, along with their additional medical requirements for air ambulances. We also provide family members and hospitals with flight and patient updates in the sky.
Aircraft
We use a fleet of medically outfitted Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. This aircraft offers the only cargo door in its class providing patients with safe and comfortable access to our cabin. We can configure the cabin with as many seats as necessary for medical personnel needed for your flight. The Aircraft has a range of 1,742NM and reaches a cruising speed of over 300 mph.
